Queen’s Award for Enterprise – International Trade

WoodBlocX Landscaping has received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category. The prestigious award recognises our business’ exceptional growth in overseas markets whilst continuing to deliver an innovative, sustainable and high quality product.

From our base in the Highlands of Scotland we design and manufacture our patented modular system, which is widely used in landscape architecture projects for building bespoke street furniture and raised planters, and deliver it to projects and customers in 12 countries.

Since WoodBlocX launched in 2012 WoodBlocX has grown exponentially from a relatively small online retail business selling our innovative modular raised bed kits in the UK, to a widely recognised brand, offering a wide range of structures tailored to customers’ requirements. We entered the landscape market in 2015 having been specified on a large installation for student accommodation giant Unite’s flagship Angel Lane site, since then WoodBlocX has been used in town and city centres, parks, regeneration projects, residential developments and various healthcare and hospitality settings.

Our company is keen to support positive change within the landscape industry and the businesses that drive it and being an annual sponsor of the Landscape Institute’s annual Landscape Awards gives us the opportunity to do this and we’re keen to support similar initiatives overseas.

Receiving a Queen’s Award is fantastic recognition for WoodBlocX. Our infinitely adaptable product creates opportunities to enhance spaces, increase biodiversity and connect people with nature in the UK and beyond, it’s has such a wide appeal and we are focussed on providing the best possible design solutions and service to our customers in all countries.
