Modular planters across multiple floors for a new housing development
Enhancing outdoor spaces
This build-to-rent development created 119 new homes in the Hayes area of West London, the area was once a hub for the printing of vinyl record sleeve which inspired the name ‘Gatefold’ after the popular folding method.
The project was delivered by Willmott Dixon’s private rent business Be:Here and a selection of a bespoke modular raised planters and benches were specified for the communal outdoor areas.
Planting for privacy and vibrance
Landscape architects Keary Design Associates created the concept for the courtyard areas, complimenting the bold hard landscaping with our raised planters to border entrances to homes planted with low-level shrubs and trees to provide privacy.
A selection of large bespoke planter benches line the central areas and provide the colour and greenery needed to bring the outdoor areas of this scheme to life.

Bespoke designs for rooftop and podium gardens
We have worked extensively with landscape architect practices to provide bespoke solutions for roof gardens. As WoodBlocX is modular, it can be easily transported to site either via a lift if a crane in unavailable, thanks to the lightweight parts, plus the system is quick and easy to build.
